Chilly, dry north-easterly winds swept through Karachi on Friday, causing a sharp temperature drop and reducing visibility to just 3 kilometres due to light fog.
Wind speeds reached 36 km/h, intensifying the cold — prompting many residents to reach for warmer clothes as the city braces for cold mornings and nights.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) anticipates this dry, chilly pattern to continue through Sunday, with clear days but cold starts and evenings.
