UAE President first official visit Pakistan

The President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has arrived in Islamabad on Friday, December 26, 2025, for his first official visit to Pakistan as UAE president, the Foreign Office announced. The visit comes at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and underscores the longstanding and close ties between the two countries.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed is being accompanied by a high-level delegation of ministers and senior officials. During his stay, he will hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to review the full spectrum of Pakistan-UAE relations, including trade, investment, energy cooperation, development projects, and regional and international issues of mutual interest. The discussions are expected to deepen economic cooperation and strengthen strategic partnership frameworks between Islamabad and Abu Dhabi.

Pakistan considers the UAE one of its key economic and diplomatic partners, with significant collaboration in trade, investment, energy and expatriate workforce ties. Officials note that the visit will further enhance brotherly relations between the two countries and support ongoing efforts to expand cooperation across multiple sectors.
