Youm-e-Tashakur

Youm-e-Tashakur is being marked across Pakistan today with patriotic fervor and national pride, paying tribute to the historic triumph of Marka-e-Haq. The day, known as the Day of Gratitude, is being observed to express deep thanks to Almighty Allah and to recognize the courageous efforts of Pakistan’s armed forces.

In Islamabad, a grand ceremony is underway at the iconic Pakistan Monument to highlight the accomplishments of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos and the successful campaign of Marka-e-Haq. This national event is a significant part of Youm-e-Tashakur, aiming to unite the nation in appreciation of the sacrifices made by the military and the resilience of the Pakistani people.

The ceremony opened with a soulful Quranic recitation, followed by the arrival of key dignitaries including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, chiefs of the armed services, federal ministers, foreign diplomats, and other high-ranking officials.

Adding to the patriotic spirit of Youm-e-Tashakur, a breathtaking aerial display by Pakistan Air Force fighter jets captivated the audience. The impressive showcase drew loud chants of “Long live Pakistan” as citizens celebrated their national heroes.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Rawalpindi to check on the well-being of soldiers and civilians injured during the operations linked to Marka-e-Haq. His visit was a gesture of solidarity and a reminder of the human cost of defending the nation.

As Youm-e-Tashakur continues to be observed with gratitude and pride, it stands as a powerful reminder of Pakistan’s unity, strength, and unwavering commitment to peace and sovereignty.
