On the night of January 15–16, 2026, a road accident on the Super Highway in Karachi resulted in the deaths of two pedestrians and left two others critically injured. An unidentified vehicle struck the pedestrians at the location, killing two individuals instantly while the others sustained serious injuries. Police and rescue personnel responded to the scene and transported the deceased and wounded to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. At the time of reporting, the identities of those killed and injured had not been confirmed by authorities.
