The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has urged citizens to report cases of illegal parking-fee collection across the city.
Deputy Mayor Salman Murad emphasised that parking in many designated spots should be free and warned that individuals or groups collecting money without proper authorisation will face legal action.
The appeal comes amid a crackdown by the city administration on unauthorised charges, where several incidents were logged and arrests made for unlawful fee collection.
