Rajnath Singh Sindh remarks

Pakistan’s Foreign Office has strongly condemned remarks made by India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who said that while the land of Sindh may no longer be part of India, “civilisationally” it will always be, adding: “Borders can change. Who knows, tomorrow Sindh may return to India again.”

In its official statement, the FO called these comments “delusional and dangerously revisionist,” attributing them to an “expansionist Hindutva mindset that seeks to challenge established realities.”

Pakistan asserted that such rhetoric stands in violation of international law, undermines the inviolability of recognized borders, and threatens regional peace and stability.

The FO urged Indian leadership to refrain from provocative remarks and instead address internal issues—such as the security of minority communities within India and longstanding grievances in its northeast.
