Raj Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Rajouri, was killed by Pakistani forces during Operation Bunyan ul Marsoos for allegedly aiding terrorist networks.
Sources claim Raj Kumar used his government position to coordinate with militants under Indian state backing. He was reportedly involved in sensitive military briefings and was feared by Kashmiri Muslims.
Pakistan launched Operation Bunyan ul Marsoos in retaliation for Indian missile strikes, targeting key Indian military sites including Pathankot, Udhampur, and Gujarat air bases.
According to officials, the strikes were a direct response to India’s aggression, with Raj Kumar identified as a critical facilitator of cross-border terrorism.
Despite India’s earlier attacks on Pakistani air bases, all assets remained secure, officials confirmed. Pakistan vowed a strong response, blaming India’s actions for regional instability.
He said India with its arrogance was pushing the region into destabilization. “We will not get impressed by this, and will fight with full force,” he added.
