On 20 November 2025, the Pakistani rupee strengthened slightly against major currencies in the open market. The US dollar traded at around Rs 281.55 (buying) / Rs 281.80 (selling).
The euro was quoted at Rs 332.35 (buying) / Rs 335.85 (selling), while the British pound stood at Rs 381.20 (buying) / Rs 384.20 (selling).
Meanwhile, the Saudi riyal was trading at Rs 75.75 (buying) / Rs 76.35 (selling).
Analysts suggest the slight appreciation of the rupee and modest currency movements reflect cautious optimism among traders ahead of upcoming policy announcements and external‐financing inflows.
