The Government of Sindh has issued a directive to grant five additional marks to applicants for Grade 5 through Grade 15 positions, provided their academic aggregate score is at least 50 percent.
Under the new policy, candidates who have passed Intermediate level will also be eligible for the extra marks during their recruitment exams.
The notice mandates that all provincial departments apply this adjustment in tests managed by the Institute of Business Administration Sukkur (IBA Sukkur), which oversees large-scale hiring assessments in Sindh.
Officials say the measure is designed to reward academic performance, promote merit and standardise recruitment across the province.
