Syed Peer Muhammad Shah, a senior police officer of the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP), has been reappointed as Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Traffic, Karachi, the Associated Press of Pakistan reported.
According to an official notification, Shah’s posting has been restored with immediate effect, relieving Mazhar Nawaz Shaikh, who had been holding the additional charge of the top traffic post in the city. Shah had been awaiting posting in the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department before being reinstated to oversee Karachi’s traffic police.
