The Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) has announced that water supply will be suspended for three days in several areas of Karachi while repair work is carried out on a damaged pipeline along the BRT corridor.
Affected localities include Saddar Town, Jamshed Road, PIB Colony and the Lines Area — where residents will face a temporary water cut from November 29 to December 1.
Officials note that although work may finish in roughly two days, supply disruption will last the full three-day maintenance period to ensure full system stability before restoration.
Residents have been urged to store water in advance and conserve what they have as the corporation works to complete the replacement of an old 60-inch valve and related infrastructure upgrades.
