CCTV clips from the Karachi ATM shooting have surfaced showing a security guard firing at a woman outside a bank in the Papoosh area of Karachi. According to police, the guard called the woman under the pretense of giving her money at the ATM, but the encounter quickly turned deadly.
Footage shows the woman arriving at the ATM booth, where a heated exchange unfolded. Suddenly, the security guard drew his pistol and shot her at close range. After the first shot hit her chest, she attempted to flee, but the guard chased her and fired additional rounds.
The Karachi ATM shooting has alarmed local residents and drawn attention to security guard conduct. Though a colleague tried to intervene during the shooting, the guard continued firing before calmly walking away from the scene.
Police took possession of the CCTV evidence and have launched a formal inquiry. The injured woman was rushed to hospital but succumbed to her wounds during treatment. Authorities have detained the guard, recovered the weapon, and are questioning him while continuing the investigation into motive and circumstances surrounding the tragic Karachi ATM shooting.
