Karachi earthquake

A 5.2-magnitude earthquake was reported in and around Karachi, triggering panic among residents who rushed out of homes and buildings as tremors were felt across several areas of the city. According to seismic monitoring authorities, the quake’s epicentre was located in the Arabian Sea, at a shallow depth, which made the tremors more noticeable.

No immediate reports of casualties or major damage were received, but emergency services were placed on alert as a precaution. Officials advised citizens to remain calm and follow safety guidelines in case of aftershocks. Pakistan’s seismic zones remain active due to regional tectonic movements, and authorities continue to monitor the situation closely.
