Jeff Garcia the beloved American actor and comedian best known for voicing “Sheen Estevez” in the Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius franchise has died at age 50.
According to family sources cited by media outlets, Garcia was hospitalized on December 8, 2025, after suffering breathing problems; a collapsed lung followed the next day. Over the months leading to his death, he had endured a brain aneurysm earlier in the year, a stroke several weeks ago, and a bout of pneumonia in November.
Garcia’s son, Jojo Garcia, shared the news in an emotional tribute, praising his father’s “love, compassion, and drive,” calling him his “hero,” and asking for privacy as the family grieves.
Garcia’s career spanned decades: beyond his breakout role as Sheen, he voiced characters in animated films such as Barnyard, Happy Feet, and Rio; and he remained active in stand-up comedy until shortly before his final hospitalization.
