In the midnight hours in the Bhirya Road area of Naushero Feroze district, two policemen— Ghulam Hussain Rajpar and Saeed Solangi—on duty at a check-post were fatally shot by a gang of eight unidentified assailants. The incident was documented in an FIR filed at the Bhirya Road police station.
The province’s Inspector General of Police, Ghulam Nabi Memon, described the attack as a retaliation against active policing efforts and announced a compensation of Rs 25 million for each of the martyred officers, along with two government jobs for family members of each.
