The ongoing Pakistan heatwave continues to grip several parts of the country as extreme temperatures create difficult conditions in Sindh and Balochistan.

According to the Meteorological Department, hot and dry weather is expected to persist in most regions, while southern areas remain under intense heat pressure. Cities across Sindh and Balochistan recorded dangerously high temperatures, leaving residents struggling to cope with the harsh weather.

Experts warned that the Pakistan heatwave could become more severe during daytime hours, especially in interior Sindh and parts of Balochistan, where temperatures continue rising above normal levels. Health authorities have advised people to avoid unnecessary outdoor activities and stay hydrated to prevent heat-related illnesses.

In several districts, roads appeared unusually quiet during afternoon hours as people preferred to remain indoors to escape the scorching heat. Authorities also urged labourers, elderly citizens, and children to take extra precautions during the ongoing Pakistan heatwave.

Weather officials said no major relief is expected immediately, and dry conditions are likely to continue over the coming days. The intense weather has also increased electricity demand in many cities, leading to concerns over power outages during peak hours.

Climate experts believe rising temperatures and changing weather patterns are contributing to longer and stronger heatwaves across the region. Citizens have been encouraged to follow safety guidelines and avoid direct sun exposure during the hottest parts of the day.
