Karachi TemperatureKarachi’s temperature has soared past 40°C, bringing deadly heatwaves to the city. Tragically, a teenage boy lost his life to heatstroke. Stay safe, stay hydrated!

KARACHI Temperature crossed a dangerous threshold on Friday, turning the city into a heat trap—and tragically claiming the life of a teenage boy.

The 15-year-old was brought dead to Dr. Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi from the Moachko area. According to Police Surgeon Dr. Summaiya Syed, “His post-mortem examination was carried out. It was apparently a heatstroke case.”

The boy, believed to be homeless, was found unresponsive in the wilderness of Murad Kalmati Goth. His death paints a somber picture of what the rising KARACHI Temperature can do, especially to those with nowhere to seek shelter.

On Friday, the KARACHI Temperature averaged 40°C, but it felt much hotter in certain areas like Gulistan-i-Jauhar, where temperatures peaked at 40.1°C. Morning humidity was recorded at 60%, making the heat even more unbearable.

The Meteorological Department has warned of more hot and humid conditions over the weekend. Forecasts show that KARACHI temperature is expected to remain between 37°C and 39°C on Saturday and Sunday.

But the heatwave isn’t limited to Karachi.

Across Sindh, the situation is alarming. Mohenjo-Daro sizzled as the hottest city in Pakistan on Friday, with the mercury touching 48°C. Dadu, Jacobabad, and Shaheed Benazirabad weren’t far behind, each recording highs of 47°C.

The Met Office predicts extremely hot and dry weather in most districts of Sindh for the next 24 hours. Citizens are advised to stay hydrated, avoid direct sunlight during peak hours, and take all possible precautions to combat the soaring KARACHI Temperature.

As the sun blazes on and the nights offer little relief, Karachi finds itself at a crossroads—between a scorching summer and the human toll it takes. The rising KARACHI Temperature is no longer just uncomfortable—it’s becoming deadly.
