Pakistan’s foreign ministry has reaffirmed that the Pakistani passport remains “not valid for travel to Israel.”
The clarification came amid media reports claiming that Pakistani journalists had travelled to Israel, which the ministry said cannot happen under current regulations because the passport itself carries the restriction.
The government reiterated that Pakistan does not recognise the state of Israel, and continues to support the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the creation of an independent, sovereign Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
