Samsung Galaxy A37 A57 mid-range refresh

Samsung is preparing to refresh its mid-range Galaxy A smartphone lineup with the upcoming Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 models, expected to launch in early 2026 — potentially as soon as February or March — slightly ahead of the company’s usual release schedule for its A-series devices.

According to recent leaks and industry reports, both new phones will keep Samsung’s focus on balanced performance, modern design and improved camera systems. The Galaxy A37 is tipped to feature a 50-megapixel main camera with a larger sensor size for better light capture, paired with secondary ultra-wide and macro lenses along with a 12-megapixel selfie shooter. Simultaneously, the Galaxy A57 is expected to offer a similar 50 MP primary camera but with an enhanced 13 MP ultrawide lens and improved optics on the front camera.

Internal details hint that both phones will ship with Android 16 and Samsung’s latest software overlay, and could be powered by newer Exynos chipsets tailored for mid-range performance. The move to update the Galaxy A lineup reflects Samsung’s strategy to maintain competitiveness in the global mid-tier smartphone segment by offering enhanced imaging capabilities and solid overall value ahead of the flagship Galaxy S series.
