Pakistan has fully restored flight operations to Saudi Arabia after recent disruptions caused by escalating tensions in the Middle East, according to state-run media. Aviation authorities also said partial flight operations to Dubai and some other Gulf routes have resumed from major Pakistani cities including Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
Air travel between Pakistan and Gulf countries had faced widespread cancellations due to airspace closures and security concerns linked to the regional crisis. Since February 28, more than 570 flights to Gulf destinations such as the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar were cancelled, affecting several airlines including Emirates, Etihad, Air Arabia, Pakistan International Airlines, Airblue and Qatar Airways.
Officials said the government has also set up facilitation desks and consular support to assist Pakistanis stranded in Gulf countries, while airports gradually restore normal international flight schedules.
