Pakistan Jordan coordination

Pakistan and Jordan have reinforced their commitment to the Gaza peace plan, deepening Pakistan Jordan coordination for a ceasefire and reconstruction. In Islamabad, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and King Abdullah II pledged zero tolerance for forced displacement of Palestinians from Gaza.

The two leaders pledged to boost cooperation with eight Arab‑Islamic countries currently working with the United States on implementing the Gaza peace plan signed in Sharm el-Sheikh.

Their discussions went beyond the immediate conflict, covering long-term bilateral ties. They explored expanding trade, investment, health, science and technology, education, and defense partnerships.

King Abdullah praised Pakistan’s steady support for humanitarian relief in Gaza and its role in preserving regional stability. In turn, Prime Minister Shehbaz described the Jordanian king’s visit as a symbol of enduring brotherhood between the two nations.

Both sides witnessed the signing of four memoranda of understanding, including agreements in media, culture, and education. They set up a Chair in Urdu and Pakistan Studies at a Jordanian university and formalized media cooperation between Pakistan and Jordan.

This effort highlights Pakistan Jordan coordination, aiming to support a multilateral push for peace in Gaza.

Their united stand underscores the importance of no displacement, regional cooperation, and political dialogue to rebuild Gaza with dignity.
