A man identified as Niaz Ahmed was fatally shot in Karachi’s Korangi Gulzar Colony during an armed motorcycle-snatching incident on Monday, police report.
According to officials, two armed suspects approached Niaz on his motorcycle, opened fire and then fled with the vehicle. No cash or belongings other than the motorcycle were reported stolen.
His body was taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities, and a crime-scene unit secured evidence at the scene as investigators continue follow-up work.
