Karachi restaurant fined for expired oil

According to a report, a restaurant in Karachi was fined Rs 200,000 after inspectors found it was using expired cooking oil.
The fine was imposed as part of a food-safety crackdown aiming to curb unhygienic practices and ensure public health.

Authorities have reiterated that restaurants found violating hygiene regulations — including use of expired or substandard ingredients — will face heavy penalties.
