KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan continued to rise rapidly, with the tola price increasing by Rs1,600 on the local market.
The local gold price climbed by Rs1600 to Rs230,200.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose to Rs180,913.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) saw a week of good trends and significant rise in commercial activity following the general elections.
The KSE-100 index closed the business week at 65,793 points, up 468 points or 0.70 percent.
During the week, the KSE-100 index peaked at 66,150 points, demonstrating investors’ optimism. However, the lowest KSE-100 index is 65,187. Such fluctuations are unavoidable in the stock market, encouraging investors to closely watch market dynamics and make sound judgments.
