Zuma Resources Limited has approved the acquisition of 100% ownership and associated rights of sim.market, an international digital connectivity and eSIM platform, as the Pakistan-listed company expands its presence in global telecommunications.
Board Approves sim.market Acquisition
The company’s Board of Directors approved the proposed acquisition at a meeting held on October 2, 2026. Zuma Resources plans to complete the transaction through its wholly owned UK subsidiary, Zuma Global Ltd.
The deal covers the sim.market brand and trademark rights, domain name, website and platform rights, goodwill, intellectual property, customer and commercial rights, as well as other related business assets.
Zuma Expands International Telecom Operations
The acquisition is part of Zuma Resources’ broader strategy to build an international digital connectivity and telecommunications business.
The company established Zuma Global Ltd in England and Wales on September 18, 2026, with the subsidiary intended to support its overseas technology and telecom operations.
Zuma has also started regulatory engagement with the UK’s Ofcom as it prepares to offer physical SIM cards, eSIMs and other digital connectivity services.
sim.market Offers Global Connectivity
The sim.market platform operates as an international eSIM and digital connectivity marketplace, providing travel and global connectivity services across multiple markets. Zuma had previously partnered with the platform as part of its international expansion plans.
The company has also approved a strategic partnership with Telna North America Inc. to support the rollout of global eSIM and physical SIM services. Telna’s connectivity network covers more than 200 countries through partnerships with international mobile operators.
Acquisition Price Not Yet Disclosed
Although the Board has approved the acquisition, Zuma Resources has not disclosed the purchase price.
The company has authorised its CEO to negotiate and finalise the transaction’s terms, including the purchase consideration, settlement of receivables, assets and liabilities, and transfer of relevant business rights.
The final transaction structure and consideration will therefore depend on the ongoing negotiations.
