A “notorious” vehicle-lifting suspect was killed in a police encounter in Karachi, after officers engaged him during an operation to curb auto theft.
Police say the suspect had long been linked to multiple vehicle thefts and was considered a significant threat to public safety.
Following the encounter, law enforcement recovered a stolen vehicle and reportedly other incriminating evidence, underscoring the operation’s success in disrupting a major lifting ring.
