Karachi flyover crash

A hit-and-run crash on a Karachi flyover claimed the life of a young woman and left a motorcyclist critically injured, authorities said. The incident occurred near the Matric Board Office in Nazimabad late Friday.

According to rescue teams, the woman, identified as Tooba, was riding with the motorcyclist, Shoaib, when an unidentified vehicle struck their bike. The force of the collision caused Tooba to fall from the flyover; she died on the spot.

Rescue teams took Shoaib to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, and doctors are now treating his serious injuries. Police confirmed that the vehicle fled immediately after the crash. Investigators have opened a case and begun a probe into the hit-and-run, trying to identify the driver and vehicle involved.

This tragic Karachi flyover crash underscores the high risk of road accidents in the city and highlights ongoing concerns about traffic law compliance and road safety.
