Bilateral trade between Pakistan and Indonesia has climbed to US $2.92 billion from January to September 2025, up from US $2.69 billion in the same period last year.
In 2024, the full-year trade between the two countries reportedly hit US $4.2 billion, according to the Indonesian Consul General in Karachi.
Despite this upward trend, officials highlight the need to diversify the trade basket beyond current staples. Opportunities cited include textiles, the halal industry, agriculture & food products, pharmaceuticals, ICT and digital innovation.
An Indonesian business delegation is set to participate in the upcoming International Consumer Product Fair (ICPF) in Karachi to explore expanded collaboration and business-to-business engagements.
