K‑Electric (KE) has introduced multiple facilitation camps across Karachi to deliver services directly to consumers. These camps—held in neighbourhoods such as North Karachi, New Karachi, Gulistan-e-Johar, Clifton, Malir and the SITE Industrial Zone—have so far attracted more than 2,500 customers at recent events.
At the events, residents could pay bills, apply for new connections, resolve meter queries, and access other account-services on spot. The move is part of KE’s “Hum Qadam” customer-engagement initiative, which emphasises doorstep convenience and faster turnaround.
Officials say that by bringing services closer to consumers, KE aims to improve recovery of unpaid bills, reduce theft, and cut loadshedding in high-loss areas.
