Rain anticipated in Karachi and Major parts of Sindh from April 17

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Karachi, Hyderabad, and areas of Sindh may get varied amounts of rainfall this week.

A westerly wave is expected to hit western Pakistan on Tuesday evening/night and progressively influence most areas by April 17 (Wednesday).

This weather system is expected to bring rain, wind, and thunderstorms to Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Larkana, Dadu, Qambar Shahdad Kot, Jamshoro, and Sanghar from Wednesday night till April 19.

Maximum temperatures in Karachi are predicted to range between 30-32 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and Thursday, while in Hyderabad they are likely to range between 31-33 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and 32-34 degrees Celsius on Thursday, respectively.

During the last 24 hours, dry weather prevailed in Karachi, Hyderabad, and most of Sindh. Dadu and Nawabshah had the highest temperatures in the province, at 36 degrees Celsius.

During the morning, relative humidity was observed at 54% in Dadu and 73% in Nawabshah. The highest temperature in Karachi was 31 degrees Celsius in the morning, with a relative humidity of 84 percent.

The highest temperature in Hyderabad was 32 degrees Celsius, with a morning relative humidity of 72 percent.
