The Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) have detained 123 illegal migrants in the Jiwani area of Balochistan during operations conducted over the past two months. Authorities say the group included individuals attempting to travel between Pakistan and Iran without valid travel documents, using unauthorized routes along the border.
PCG officials reported that the arrests were made as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen border security and curb human smuggling networks in the coastal region. After their capture and initial questioning, all 123 detainees were handed over to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), which will carry out further legal proceedings.
The operation reflects continued enforcement actions by the Pakistan Coast Guards to monitor and control illegal migration activities along sensitive border areas, particularly near Jiwani, a key transit point close to the Pakistan-Iran border.
