The 10th Adab Festival is set to take place at Habitt City (Sharea Faisal/Tipu Sultan Road), Karachi, on Saturday, 22 November (1 p.m.–9:30 p.m.) and Sunday, 23 November (12 noon–9:30 p.m.).
Announcing the event, Ameena Saiyid — founder-director of the festival and Managing Director of Lightstone Publishers — said this year’s programme is “carefully curated” and will bring together a wide array of prominent writers, journalists, scholars and public figures.
The list of participants includes names such as Zehra Nigah, Farhatullah Babar, Kishwar Naheed, Shandana Minhas, Wusatullah Khan and many more spanning literature, culture, journalism and public policy.
In addition to sessions focused on discussions and debates, the festival will also host the Adab Festival/Infaq Foundation Awards, recognising outstanding contributions in Urdu, English and Sindhi literature.
Complementing the literary focus, the festival’s organisers expressed gratitude to their partners — including the Sindh Government, British Council, Institute of Business Management, and major banks — for their support in this cultural endeavour.
