PIA cabin crew missing Canada

A flight attendant from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is reported to have gone missing in Canada as the airline launches an inquiry into the incident.

According to PIA spokesperson Abdullah Hafeez Khan, the crew member failed to report for duty on flight PK-798 from Toronto to Lahore after claiming ill health.

The airline said it has begun an investigation and warned that if the disappearance is determined to be “illegal,” disciplinary action will follow.

This is not the first such case for PIA: the airline has previously reported multiple instances of cabin crew members going missing during layovers in Toronto in recent months.
