NADRA extended hours Shahrah-e-Quaideen Karachi

The National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced extended operating hours at its Shahrah-e-Quaideen registration centre in Karachi to improve citizen access to identity services. Under the revised schedule, the centre will now open daily from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, divided into a morning shift (8:00 am – 3:00 pm) and an evening shift (3:00 pm – 10:00 pm), effective December 22, 2025. This adjustment aims to accommodate individuals who are unable to visit during standard daytime hours and reduce inconvenience associated with applying for or renewing national identity documents.

NADRA officials indicated that the extended hours are part of a broader effort to enhance service delivery and meet growing demand at major centres, particularly in large urban areas like Karachi. By operating later into the evening, the authority hopes to serve more citizens, including those who work during regular office hours or face time constraints.
