According to Dhruv Rathee, the phony post erroneously claims that he is a Muslim and his wife is Pakistani. Dhruv Rathee resorted to his own social media account to counter the charges.
Dhruv Rathee, who is well-known for releasing films critical of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has often been targeted by those who promote fake news. However, this time, the fake news mongers have also targeted his wife. Dhruv Rathee has posted a YouTube video debunking these false allegations and clarifying himself.
‘The Truth About Dhruv Rathee’
Dhruv Rathee stated that a WhatsApp message is being widely sent that states, “Breaking truth about Dhruv Rathee who runs the anti-Modi, anti-BJP, anti-RSS, anti-Sanathan canard (there is no Maheshwari) cloaking as Hindu.” His true name is Badru Rashid, and his full name is Badruddin Rashid Lahori. “He was born in Lahore, Pakistan.”
‘Wife Julie Is Pakistani?’
The message continues, “His wife Julie (Christian sounding name) is also a Pakistani, and her real name is Zulaikha (Pakistani Muslim name).” They reside near legendary mobster Dawood Ibrahim’s Alishan home in Karachi, where they have Y+ and Z+ security from the ISI and the Pakistani Army.
‘Father-In-Law Is A Pakistani?’
Another post alleges that Dhruv Rathee’s father-in-law is Pakistani, adding, “Congress+Dhruv Rathee+Pakistan+Left Ecosystem Sab mile hue hai (They all are together).” Dhruve Rathee has denied these charges, stating, “They have no answer to the videos I made, so they’re spreading these fake claims.” He said, “And how desperate do you have to be to pull my wife’s family into this?
