Two criminals murdered in a ‘crossfire’ with police in Karachi

KARACHI: On Saturday night, police claimed to have murdered two suspected thieves in a ‘encounter’ in Korangi Zaman town.

According to police, the accused bandits fled after stealing mobile phones and a motorcycle from civilians in Korangi Zaman Town.

Police arrived at the scene after being told of the event. When the bandits saw the police team, they opened fire on them and escaped.

Police pursued them, and after an exchange of fire, the thieves were dead.

The thieves were apprehended by police, who collected weapons and cell phones. According to authorities, the incident lasted some time, and more officers were brought in to help combat the bandits.

According to authorities, the bandits have a lengthy criminal record and are wanted for a variety of horrific offenses. Further inquiry was underway.
