ISLAMABAD: The federal government announced on Friday that petrol prices and other petroleum product rates will remain unchanged for the next fortnight, holding steady until November 30.
Petrol prices will stay at Rs248.38 per liter, according to the official notification, while high-speed diesel remains at Rs255.14 per liter. The prices of light diesel and kerosene oil also remain consistent.
Earlier reports had hinted at a possible increase in prices due to rising global premiums on petroleum products and higher import costs. Sources suggested a potential hike of Rs2.58 per liter for petrol and Rs5.91 per liter for high-speed diesel.
Despite these predictions, the government chose not to increase prices, offering relief to consumers across the country.
