The bomb disposal squad (BDS) has released a worrying preliminary report on the suicide bombing in Landhi’s Mansehra Colony in Karachi.
According to the report, the suicide assault targeted a foreigner’s automobile in Mansehra Colony, causing significant damage to it. The event killed two assailants, one of whom was identified as the suicide bomber.
According to the BDS report, the suicide bomber’s head and legs were retrieved from the blast scene, while the second assailant was shot and killed on the spot.
Further investigation by the BDS revealed a stash of firearms and explosives in the terrorists’ possession. Six hand grenades, four rifle grenades, and a submachine gun launcher were among the materials discovered. Ball bearings, which are indicative of shrapnel used in explosive devices, were also discovered, along with water and fuel bottles.
According to the report, the dead terrorist was found with one grenade in his pocket and another in his hand. According to the report, the SMG was fitted with a launcher, which contained a rifle grenade.
The police are undertaking extensive investigations to determine the motivations behind the attack and locate any potential accomplices.
