KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi will conduct an important politico-charity event on March 30 called “Gaza Solidarity Night,” which intends to gather public financial support for supporting Palestinian victims of Israel’s ongoing conflict.

“During a news conference at Idara Noor-e-Haq on Monday, JI Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman urged citizens to participate in the Gaza Solidarity Night, which aims to highlight the Palestinians’ plight.”

He planned a fund-raising event on March 30 at Shahra-e-Quaideen, pleading with the people to help the victims of Israeli assault in the Gaza Strip.

Since the governments of the Muslim world have shown indifference to the rising human misery, the JI has increased its charitable efforts to collect funds for Gaza’s Palestinian residents. “Gaza has evolved as one of the world flashpoints for the people of conscience across the globe,” he said, adding that world governments, particularly Muslim nations, are “inhumanly” backing Israel.

Hafiz Naeem thanked everyone who enquired about him, expressed their concerns, and prayed for his speedy recovery after a recent heart operation.
