Another young man murdered by muggers in Karachi

In Karachi’s Essa Nagri district, bandits killed a young guy near the sacrifice animals market, prompting police to file a murder case against unknown perpetrators.

Farhan, 32, was shot and seriously injured by muggers at the sacrifice animals market within the jurisdiction of the PIB Colony police station karachi on Saturday night. Farhan was transported to the hospital, where police recorded his statement before he died from his grave injuries. An inquiry has been launched against the mysterious perpetrators.

Meanwhile, Farhan was put to rest at a nearby cemetery amid sadness and despair. Mourners continue to pay their respects at the home of Farhan, who is survived by his wife.

Muhammad Shoaib, a friend of the late Farhan, described the terrible episode, adding that they were coming from the old Sabzi Mandi when Farhan, riding pillion with him on the motorbike, alerted him to the approaching criminals. Despite Farhan’s attempts to flee, the attackers opened fire, gravely wounded him with a gunshot to the back.

The deceased’s brother said that Farhan, although being married, had no children and worked in the milk industry. He frequently went out at night for business dealings.

Family members and relatives of the dead denounced perpetrators’ impunity and the absence of responsibility. They asked that escalating street crime be addressed swiftly, and that if the government and law enforcement fail to catch culprits, they will take matters into their own hands.
