KARACHI: Police in Karachi detained a man who reportedly attempted to dispose of his wife’s body after she was murdered in the Korangi Industrial Area.
Police apprehended the man after he placed the deceased body in a water drum in Allah Wala Town.
Babu is an inhabitant of Chanesar Goth in Karachi. He resided there alongside his wife and four children.
According to authorities, Babu reportedly murdered his wife three days ago by smothering her with a pillow.
Police said a patrolling squad apprehended the suspect after pursuing him.
Investigations into the event are underway. According to police, the crime might have been an honor killing.
The woman’s body has been sent to Jinnah Hospital, and the accused is being placed in prison for further action.
