Actor Rizwan Wasti’s death anniversary has been marked

ISLAMABAD, January 24 (AP): Rizwan Wasti, a well-known Pakistani theatrical artist, presenter, and English newscaster, was commemorated on Wednesday, his 13th death anniversary. Rizwan Wasti was born in the city of Lahore in 1937. In the 1960s, he began his career as an English newsreader for Radio Pakistan before transitioning to PTV plays.

Rizwan Wasti, together with his wife, actress Tahira Wasti, appeared in several outstanding drama serials. Shama, Aagahi, Arosa, Unkahi, Uncle Urfi, Tanhaaiyan, and Aabgeenay are among his best-known plays. His daughter, Laila Wasti, is also involved in the entertainment industry. Rizwan Wasti died away on January 24, 2011.
