Sindh forms a JIT for missing infant Priya Kumari

Sindh’s Home Department has formed a five-member Joint Investigation Team (JIT) led by DIG Mirpurkhas Javed Jikani to examine the case of missing newborn Priya Kumari, Raju Mal Hindu’s daughter. The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh issued the directions that led to this decision. According to an office order issued by the Additional Chief Secretary Home on Tuesday, the JIT, led by DIG Javed Jiskani, comprises SSP Hyderabad Amjad Ahmed Shaikh, SSP Shaheed Benazirabad Tanveer Tunio, and two DSPs.

The team must present its findings to the Home Department within three weeks. Two years ago, baby Priya Kumari went missing from the Sangar region in the district of Sukkur.
