Pakistan wants investment, not loans: Shehbaz Sharif in UAE

According to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan has shifted its attention away from requesting loans from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and toward collaborative investment.

PM Shehbaz spoke at a round-table event titled “Innovate Together: UAE-Pakistan Tech Collaborations” in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, expressing his delight at witnessing the skill of UAE IT workers. He emphasized their importance in the digitization of numerous areas of the economy.

The Prime Minister emphasized that more than 60% of Pakistan’s population is young, and he has spent significant time in the last two and a half months supporting information technology.

The premier complimented Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed’s economic ideas. He praised the UAE president as a close ally of Pakistan.

He emphasized Pakistan’s intention to stabilize its economy through partnership with the UAE, emphasizing Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed’s ongoing support, as well as that of his father.

Shehbaz Sharif stated that the UAE was a leader in the IT sector, and Pakistan preferred collaborative ventures over aid.
