Killings, street crimes, and robberies have increased dramatically in Karachi, as police have entirely failed to protect local population from thieves and dacoits.
A few days ago, another university student called Areeb was the victim of a mobile snatching incident. According to authorities, one suspect has been apprehended, while the others remain at large.
Since the beginning of the year, more than 35 individuals have been murdered in decoity events in Port City, with over 100 residents injured.
Another incidence occurred in Korangi Allah Wala Town, when a university student was slain during a robbery due to resistance. Laraib was the oldest of his four brothers and sisters.
According to Karachi Police DIG (East), after discovering the deceased’s stolen smartphone, an accused person was detained and an investigation was launched.

He went on to say that anyone who is neglectful in carrying out their obligations will face severe consequences.
Another government officer, Sardar Shah, indicated that the law and order situation was not excellent during the caretaker administration’s time.
