The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) agreed on Tuesday to relocate two defunct planes from Karachi Airport to Hyderabad.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has launched a tender to relocate both aircraft to the CAA’s training facility in Hyderabad. The Kati training center will house seven MD-8-3 and Boeing 7-7 aircraft.

Karachi Airport is also known as the “aircraft graveyard” owing to the presence of hundreds of decommissioned airplanes.
