Two Lyari thugs are detained following a police confrontation in Karachi

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) East reported that the apprehended suspects, Kashan Patni and Saqib Patni alias Chingari, admitted to being involved in a number of illegal operations in the city, including extortion and robberies.

The police also revealed that the two apprehended individuals, who reportedly belonged to the famed Lyari gang war and the Arsalan Patni group, were involved in organized crime.

According to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), the gang engaged in extortion, with its head, Arsalan Patni, purportedly making ransom calls from Iran, and the apprehended man admitted to collecting extortion money from dealers.

According to police officials, the apprehended offenders had previously been jailed for numerous illegal crimes. Meanwhile, police discovered two weapons and a motorcycle from the arrested men.
