Terrorist Operation in Musakhel: In a successful joint operation, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), Frontier Corps (FC), and police forces coordinated an attack in Musakhel. During the mission, the security teams neutralized at least three terrorists and apprehended two, as reported.
According to a CTD spokeswoman, the operation, which occurred at night, culminated in an exchange of gunfire that killed three terrorists and detained two others.
The terrorists planned to target important sites, and security forces seized a substantial cache of weapons and ammunition from the killed and captured militants.
According to sources familiar with the situation, security personnel apprehended a terrorist while executing an operation in the Spalanji Bazaar region of Mustang district.
During the Terrorist Operation in Musakhel, security personnel discovered firearms, ammo, and binoculars in the custody of the captured terrorist.
Security sources revealed that the apprehended man had murdered two people in Spalanji Bazaar on October 25th and 26th. Following the tragedy, security authorities began a search operation in the area.
Before this, Punjab Police carried out a big operation in the mountainous area of Makadwala, killing ten militants amid an intensive exchange of fire.
The mission was conducted after intelligence inputs indicated 10 to 15 militants in the area.
A Punjab Police spokeswoman acknowledged the operation’s success, highlighting the department’s willingness to smash the terrorists’ malicious aims and exterminate terrorism.
