Sindh is outraged about the absence of the Karachi-Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway from the CPEC route

Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh Maqbool Baqir has written to caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar over the absence of the Karachi-Hyderabad and Sukkur Motorways from the Sindh government’s CPEC project.

He claimed that the federal government omitted the Karachi-Hyderabad and Sukkur Motorways from CPEC without providing a’specific rationale’.

Sindh’s temporary chief executive further stated in the letter that all major roads of the Peshawar-Karachi Motorway project have been finished, but the most critical portion of the M-Six connection from Hyderabad to Sukkur Abtik remains incomplete.

Concerns have been raised about the site’s lack of execution and advancement, as well as the omission of the Karachi-Hyderabad and Sukkur Motorways.
