KARACHI: As per report, the Sindh School Education and Literacy Department approved the new academic year 2024-24 timetable on Thursday and declared the promotion of students who did not take any examinations this year.
According to the statement, the government has decided to promote students in grades I-III without tests, while exams in grades IV-VIII would be held after Eid.
examinations for grades 4 through 8 will be held from April 15 to April 27, while board examinations for grades 9 and 10 will take place in May.
The provincial department said on Thursday that the next academic year 2024-25 will begin on August 1, 2024, rather than April 1, 2024.
However, summer vacation in the institutions for the academic session 2024-25 will begin on June 1, 2024, and end on July 31, 2024, while winter vacation will begin on December 21, 2024, and end on December 31, 2024.
